Ggwangamujje was conceived in 1993, in Boston, USA, to provide a forum through which Baganda living overseas could maintain and promote Ganda culture in their families, as well as support the work of their Kabaka. Ggwangamujje NY/NJ Inc. was founded in 1994, to cater for the immediate interests of the Ganda community in the New York/New Jersey area.
Ggwangamujje NY/NJ is a 501c tax-exempt association of Baganda living in the New York and New Jersey region in USA.
